Long Day Care

At Wellard Early Learning Centre, we provide a safe, engaging, and enjoyable environment
in our Baby Room for children aged 0-2 years. Our goal is to support each child’s growth and
development in a nurturing setting that encourages exploration and learning through play.

 

Our Program

We offer a flexible program that caters to the individual needs of every child, ensuring a variety
of learning experiences throughout the day. Our activities change week to week, fostering both
structured and unstructured opportunities for self-discovery.

Through these experiences, children have the chance to build trusting relationships with our
educators and peers.

Key components of our program include:

• Free Play:Allowing children to explore and learn at their own pace.

• Story Time: Encouraging language development through stories and books.

• Sensory Play: Engaging activities that stimulate the senses, fostering cognitive and motor skills.

• Interactive Songs & Music: We offer music and puppet shows, promoting language development and creativity.

• Outside Play: Providing opportunities for physical activity and outdoor exploration.
   

Daily Schedule

Our daily routine includes time for rest and nourishment, ensuring a balanced environment for your child:
- Meal Times:Parents provide healthy meals for their child, supporting good nutrition.
- Rest Time: After the morning activities, children have a quiet time to recharge and relax.
 

We also follow a SunSmart Policy, ensuring that each child wears a hat and has sunscreen applied before outdoor activities.

Our Baby Rooms

Our Baby Room is divided into two areas to accommodate different needs:
- Quiet Room: A calm and peaceful space for sleeping and resting.
- Main Activities Room:A vibrant area designed for interactive play and group activities.

Each room is thoughtfully set up to create a safe and engaging environment for your child to thrive.
